Today was a big day - we brought our baby girl home from the NICU at Blank Children's Hospital, more than two weeks prior to her due date!
Here we are: ready for our first journey with Calista Bella, literally!
This is a journey from bump to being ... and BEYOND! Glad you're aboard!

- I'm a midwest lady who grew up on a dairy farm but now live in the city. I spend much of my time advocating for clients who support a sustainable food system that provides safe, wholesome, abundant and affordable food for the world. My husband is my everything - a playful spirit, an incredible supporter, my personal song-writer and my perfect match. In July of 2009, our world was turned upside-down... for the better. We expanded our family from two canines, named Franklin and Parker, to include another little being... this time, a homosapien - Calista Bella. So that's what this blog is about.
